Dr. Sade R. Brown is a chemist and organic/polymer scientist who specializes in commodity polyolefins, polyesters, pulp & paper/forest products, engineering plastics, bio-based plastics/chemicals, EPA regulations, SOP technical writing, materials testing, product development, and product formulation. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (American Chemistry Society Certification) from Winston-Salem State University and a Master of Science in Chemistry (Biochemistry) from North Carolina Central University. Following the completion of her masters studies, Dr. Brown then earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organic Chemistry with a graduate minor in Polymer Chemistry from Clark Atlanta University.
Dr. Brown has provided consulting services to the chemical and allied industries. As an expert in polyolefins and product development, product formulations, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries, she helps clients solve problems in chemical manufacturing with an emphasis on developing or improving processes. She has over eight years of diversified consulting experience in the chemical industry. Dr. Brown’s experience includes solving challenging, real world problems involving failure analysis, reliability, and safety of engineered systems. Additionally, she has a well-developed understanding of materials testing and characterization, and is highly skilled in a range of analytical and experimental techniques.
